OceanLab and The Script

Check out a couple great bands with new hits droppin' this week:

Trance is alive and well with British group OceanLab featuring lead singer Justine Suissa. The group has been big across the band for a decade now and has found its way into the club scene here in the states over the past couple years. "On A Good Day" may be their first taste of mainstream success.

When I first heard a tune by The Script I thought that this band had to have been influenced by U2 and the Police. Sure enough. What I didn't know is that they have been around since 1996 (originally as Mytown) and actually are from U2's home Dublin, Ireland. Their self-titled album just crashed the Billboard Top 200 in the Top 10 and the first single, "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" is making waves at Triple A radio after a very successful run in Ireland.

Check them both out on iTunes!
